Of course another hurdle re pilot recruitment is the necessity for these pilots to have the right to live and work in Hong Kong this can be difficult to obtain these days as the immigration department no longer grants pilots the more or less automatic visas of a few years ago and many hopefuls are now not granted the needed visa(s) with many more are being refused for a variety of reasons.
