That is funny!
But, in reference to the snipped quote above, did you know that in 1966, Hertz had Shelby Mustang GT-350s (actually, the model was GT-350H [H for Hertz]) for rent.
They quit doing it after that year because too many people were:
(1) Renting them, taking out the engines & replacing them with regular Mustang 289s;
(2) Taking them to the race track and competing in them!!
