Agreed. Also, MCI-ORD is a heavy route for business and runs multiple flights a day with multiple carriers. The odds of not getting to ORD, if OP builds in a back up plan, are next to nothing, barring a total white out or some crazy event, which would likely cancel the flights anyway.
