Lindner Antwerp REVIEW - MASTER THREAD

Our recent two-night stay here was fine, neither memorable nor disappointing.

I had applied a suite upgrade award and it was ready at 11am which was appreciated. I was thanked for being a Globalist. The suite was large but the design and lighting weren't ideal. The WC is near the door, well separate from the ensuite. There was some kind of sliding door between the ensuite and the walk in closet that didn't open. The shower door didn't close properly, allowing a lot of water to spill onto the floor. The bathroom floor was heated but the bath towels were small and low quality. There were limited amenities and only bulk toiletries. I was intrigued to see a door hangar where guests are asked to note broken and defective aspects of the room. The suite also had a kitchenette. Wifi speed was generally very good.

The room description online said "Bed size: double bed, 2.00 x 2.10m". Wrong! It was two single (probably king single mattresses) and there was no attempt to make it one, like some hotels do with a king mattress topper, for example. That didn't make for particularly enjoyable nights' sleep for us.

Breakfast was reasonable. You could make your own waffles but oddly there was no cream. Coffee cups and glassware were small.

The location is excellent if using the central station, as we were. Beyond that, it's not overly central but it's also not out in the sticks either.

The hotel is appropriately priced at category one but I could probably live with it being category two.
