What takes Hilton so long to make account updates (read that it continues to sometime Jan 10-14)? ........ IHG, Marriott, Radisson don't take this long
Appreciate if Hilton can provide list of steps, where in the process, what causes this situation ? Hilton seems to be worst in the industry at "updating"
I suspect that this is because many people do not receive their status from hotel stays or nights in hotels but from some credit card or status match challenge. It takes Hilton time to verify membership in a card or the spending that you did on the card.
