A lot of people have points in all programs, and also cash.
It is silly to me that to say this hotel cost 20000 points and the cash price is 200, so I get 1cpp. This makes no sense to me because the universe is more than one single hilton hotel.

The purpose of this thread is to find out if there is any way to redeem Hilton points that obtain slight above fair value. I use to think each point is worth 0.5c but it seems to be an overvaluation.

I earn very little Hilton points myself (from aspire sign up, some spend on the card) and points earn from spending the resort credit and free nights.

IHG had become more valuable over last few years so there is hope when some are staying away from Hilton due to poor loyalty rewards.
