2024 Let's Eat - Polaris Business

[Admin: please feel free to move to new 2024 thread]

The card:

Note: still pouring the Justin Justification on 1/1, which is a perfectly good red (if a bit fruit-forward for my tastes).

I had the beef. It was cooked to hell, but edible. (On a smaller cabin I ask if they can pull mine early so it’s just warmed, but I didn’t want to bother the harried crew.) The cauliflower cheese thing was great, although the sawdust on top was odd.

Adult 1 had the beef also. Adult 2 had the paneer. I don’t have the pic yet (will add) but he texted “God the paneer shares nothing with actual paneer. It’s like steak sauce + cuppa noodles + halloumi. Do they have chefs on staff at United?“. He can’t say I didn’t warn him.

Child meal was the meatballs, which failed to entice the 3yo. Not sure if there are pics. Ice cream for lunch again!

Not food, but traveling in Europe with a small child really shows the difference in corporate priorities. LH Senator Lounge staff gave him a captain’s hat, an Eisbär stuffie, colored pencils, an activity book, and a memory game! United’s kit is better than nothing, but wow, we were really blown away by LH. (Even AC gives all kids a neoprene satchel, kid-sized headphones, and puzzles - we still use these on UA.)
