Well, I justify it by having Hilton points, not points with Hyatt or Choice I do have some IHG points but I'd never choose Holiday Inn Prague over Hilton Prague, both in terms of hotel quality and location (my preferred property in Prague is Radisson Blu but that's besides the point - in this particular case it was simply more expensive than Hilton).

Ultimately, if you have Hilton points you'll want to use them somehow. If we learned anything over then last couple of years, they're not gonna become more valuable So just look for the redemptions that make most sense to you.
