Several independent hotels joined, hotels that are intended to become part of a Hilton brand in the future but have yet to be converted. If all goes well, you will already receive the Hilton Honors benefits you are entitled to for the brand in those hotels, such as bonus points, breakfast allowance, upgrades, and the like. I suspect that those new hotels use the new Hilton hotel management program PEP, which is cloud-based. In the past, for the old OnQ system, servers and terminals had to be bought and installed locally by qualified engineers. The new property management software will probably work on any type of computer that has the right specifications. The people who smooth the brand conversion can then be deployed at a later time.

The list is based entirely on observations by forum members, so some locations may be missing. The listed opening date generally was the first day on which rooms were available to book through Hilton. In many cases, a hotel opens several days earlier.
