To keep this thread somewhat to Europe, the only destinations currently served by SQ and not CX in Europe are Rome and Munich (and Istanbul if you count that as Europe).
Munich has never been served by Cathay as far as I know; Rome has not I don't think been canceled as a destination permanently.
Meanwhile, Cathay flies to Madrid but SQ does not.
the frequencies are pathetic now.
CX used to fly to Dublin, Brussels and Copenhagen as well.
Now it's 2 to 3 times a week to MIilan and Zurich.
