Sure, do that. And, if they blocked you from doing this (which is their right), then you circumvented the block and continued on while bragging about it on social media..... what would you expect them to do? Just keep taking it while it costs them a ton of money?
At some point, a business has to have the right to protect itself from things that damage its ability to provide service to others.
Like, let's say you ran a hotel, and your booking site holds a room for 15 minutes while the user is given the opportunity to fill out their purchase details and make a final decision. Completely reasonable, and is in fact what happens on most booking sites. What happens if someone comes along and writes a script that "soft books" every room in your hotel, all at the same time, every 15 minutes and 1 second. No real customers can book a room, and as a result,
you make no money.
As the hotel owner, what would you do?
And crucially, how would it differ from how Air Canada has reacted?
