Hi philemer, thank you for the quick reply and suggestion. I went to my Chase account and didn't see the UR points posted (I made the reservation on 12/19). When I went back into the portal to cancel and rebook, the rate had increased by slightly more than $100/night -- arrrgghh! I'll keep looking and hopefully the rate will drop again, otherwise this will serve as a teachable moment. Thanks again and have a great 2024
