The T1 Amex international lounge is outside of security, so make sure to factor that in. I've found MEX security to be a bit annoying. That said I've never found the T1 international amex lounge very busy, but maybe I fly at weird times. That said, it is probably my favorite amex lounges. Table service, pretty solid food and drinks. (Note there are prices on the menu but they apply only to Aeromexico Amex only, Amex plat is free).
