This stay was back in November. Overall it was a good stay but not 100% perfect.

Check-in was done by a very courteous employee. I was really feeling welcomed. I booked a superior room at a ALL visa Ultimate rate coming with a 50€ F&B credit. I was upgraded in a Junior Suite Duplex. The room is exactly the one reviewed by wkndtraveller, so I won’t review it again. It was facing the roof of the train station and the room offers a lot of natural light thanks to its huge window. Zero noise from inside or outside + Sofitel MyBed = guarantee for a good night sleep. Bathroom was too small IMO.
Water was replaced daily, as well as espresso capsules. There was no welcome amenity or letter which I find odd for a Sofitel. Previous posters have also mentioned this so it’s not a one-time forget. On the 2nd day, I discussed again with my check-in employee who asked me if everything was fine. I said yes but expressed my surprised for the lack of welcome gift. He said “well…we don’t do this here…but if you want, I can arrange a fruit platter to be delivered to your room”. I said yes, but the fruits never came.
Breakfast buffet was very good with a large selection of cold and warm items.
I didn’t try the restaurant but looked at the menu and I agree with previous posters remarks : relatively pricey and I found the menu rather uninspiring. I ordered a room service dinner on my arrival day. The room service menu is a shorter selection of the restaurant menu.
I was able to redeem the drink voucher against a glass of Champagne (some real Champagne !) at the hotel bar, which becomes so rare in Accor world that it worths to mention.

As already reviewed by previous posters, one of the strong point of this hotel is the Spa, pool, hammam.
Before coming, the whole place was very busy (it was on a saturday). I booked by email a 1 hr massage. I wanted to use all my Diamond dining & spa vouchers for this. It was quite pleasant to enjoy this massage after a day walking around the city. After the massage I used the pool and its design is really super weird. It’s like a snail and not a square or rectangle classical basin. It was super noisy with a lot of kids screaming, so I left quickly. I am not a hammam person, so I skipped this part.
Checkout was a bit complicated because I never received the code for the redemption of the dining & spa vouchers and they had to keep the check open for another 48hrs after I left as I needed to contact the CS. The issue was that they needed to verify my email address !!! I am using the same address since the beginning with Accor and suddenly they feel the need to verify my address over the phone. Accor IT at its best. I was still in communication with the front desk employee for giving them the code and they were able to complete the checkout without further issues.
