I have just under 400 PQP to reach Gold status. I put some credit card spend on my United Mileageplus Card on Dec 29 that will put me > 12K spend for the calendar year, and I should earn 500 PQP. However, those purchases have not posted yet. Have people had reliable experience with this that it reliably posts on the purchase date and the PQP and status upgrade applies retroactively? Another option is I use the Points Accelerator tool today (Dec 31) but I would prefer to not spend an extra $500-600 if possible. Thanks in advance.
