I will be visiting Mainland China for the first time next year and was curious what to expect when it comes to quality of luxury hotels (specifically Shanghai and Beijing)? I am pretty sure I cannot go wrong with Peninsula and Mandarin Oriental, but I was also curious to try out some of the St. Regis, Ritz-Carlton’s and Waldorf Astorias perhaps.
