Does Thai try to be awful? Or is this normal somehow?

In dealing with TG their policies are at least 15 years old.

I seriously cannot fly them unless I buy the most expensive ticket. The inability to change even basic things is amazing.

I have had flights delayed. Or issue come up and even basic change mechanisms do not exist.

it makes me worry about flying them honestly. If they can’t figure out how to change a ticket within 4 hours of a flight are they even safe to fly? I know they don’t have any accidents recently, but that doesn’t mean they are doing everything correctly.

My only reference points are US and EU carriers. As bad as they can be they are absolutely light years ahead of Thai.

so, could someone tell me is Thai held in high regard somewhere?
