Im SFO based....i was also a UA 1k at one point....i hated UA ....i never got an upgrade....ever....even PP....

I love Alaska.....when i dont get an upgrade its the rarity....they are nicer....access to OW network....seamless interface with AA....so if AS doesnt go where i want....AA and the oneworld network does....they just added Porter in Canada too......

Im very happy with AS and would love to see you in the AS lounge too! (which is way better than UA club)
