I used one of my Mastercard credit cards for the Apple Pay payment. From your perspective, I completely understand why you're hesitant to make another booking... personally, I made the call having saved my chat with the customer service agent confirming nothing had gone through, and convinced myself that I could dispute the transaction with my bank as a last resort.
Completely unacceptable though.
