Here's the actual terms and conditions for this program. Since TSA Pre's credit is limited to once every 4.5 years, you cannot get another credit under this program (either TSAPre or GE) until 4.5 years after your last application.

Thanks, I looked it up but I think I hadn’t had enough coffee and interpreted it backwards. It’s clear now with the language saying whatever program the member applied to first applies.

I checked and my TSA was charged 2/6/2020

My annual fee posted this year on 8/20.

I understand that even if I’m charged the fee, I can still downgrade with a pro-rated rated fee, But I would think I could try and submit the application for either program (I’d probably pick Global Entry this time) Some time say after 2/6/2024, Which in theory would give me 2 weeks for the fee to be credited back before downgrading.

Sound right?
