I have just spent 4 hours experiencing all of the issues above… tried Amex and Mastercard same issues … spoke to 3 agents … I now have a booking on hold for 9 days and they are holding 360000 avios against it… went to try to pay agin online with a different card changes thx booking from on hold to confirmed but the agent said the payment has reversed again… gone into the app and it has Apple Pay and other payment options buttons neither of which work… no idea what to do now… thought about popping to the ticket desk in Manchester Airport to see if they can take payment… I don’t seem to be getting an option for PayPal …. Would be interested to hear if you managed to pay over the phone and if your card was eventually charged and you were issued with ticket numbers… I am presuming the seats were there and not phantom as the agent has put them in hold
