My reading of the rules is that you will be able to make 5 bookings next year with globalist benefits. Not unlimited.

OP would first use the five new GoH certs and then have access to legacy GoH benefits until their status expires. I don’t think that’s exactly the same as having an extra year or for Glob, unless you know and can book all your reservations for the next year by end of Feb 2024.
