One of the reason why I fly with BR (EVA) is their PE product from YYZ to TPE on the 777. If traveling alone I choose an aisle in the middle as then I get get out without disturbing anyone else plus the arm rest is also wide enough and I have no issues when the person in front reclines their seats. I choose the last row on PE if I am flying PE. It is rare that unless the flight is full or there is a family of 3 traveling together that they would select the middle seat next to mine and invariably it is empty most of the time. If the PE gets full I get upgraded obviously. The front row, have almost everyone trying to sit there because of the space in front but there are passengers trying to cross in front of you during the flight.
They also have a separate cabin and they do not let EC passengers store their carryons in PE cabin. The food is different and do have a menu to select too and proper cutlery too. They do give an amenity kit as well.
I would be interested to know more about PE in other airlines too as then I would have an option. I know that some airlines do operate some sectors on PE while they do not on others.
