All declined again with codes 5, 12, 57, and in fact all 3 afterwards error out online and over the phone when I attempt to check balance and when I stayed on the phone to talk to a rep again I was told all 3 cards had to be replaced. My experience when one of my VGCs is declined is to try it a second time and then pocket it for 24 hours, and it seems to work after that time.
It sounds from your experience that multiple attempts (more than one) will lock the card and it sounds as if it then needs replacement. That sucks
