Sometimes I do it if, as it often happens in the morning due to lack of drivers, there's a wide gap between a T4 train and a T5 one. But since it's not advertised anywhere not many do.
Thinking about it a little more as the coffee kicks in, if I was travelling there daily I might well do it. I'm not going to give TfL any more money than I have to. For a one off I'm not sure I'd bother. I'd be told what to do anyway
