Does anyone here know why CX always have an MNL flight after a JFK and EWR flights?
I Checked the bookings for CX EWR/JFK to MNL recently and when I looked at them all JFK/EWR-MNL flights via HKG have an MNL flight after 2-3 hrs in HKG. An example is CX843 JFK-HKG and suspended CX899 EWR-HKG connecting directly to the A321-251N flight to MNL CX907 while the 1:50 pm CX831 JFK-HKG connects to CX939 10:00 pm arrive MNL 12:20 am. Is this the norm for all EWR/JFK-HKG-MNL flights since CX knows they must edge out their longtime rival since 1946 PR?
Back in December 2005, I had to connect to CX907 which was a B747-400 since my flight CX831 missed the connecting flight CX905 now CX939 to MNL due to B-HQB my plane to HKG as CX831 breaking down. The return trip for it was CX906 to CX888 HKG-JFK via YVR this one had a 2hr wait
