Used the arrival service when I arrived at Honolulu earlier this week. Though it will not be something that everyone wants, it provided exactly what I wanted, at a price that was reasonable to me (about $200 per person, including tips). It made my travel experience much easier and more enjoyable, and I would absolutely use it again.

After calling to set up the service about a month before travel, I was contacted by text message -- the method I requested -- a couple of days before the flight, and given the name of our greeter and some instructions to follow on the day of travel. Check-in at LAX was easy, and they placed light blue Hawaiian Airlines VIP tags on each piece of luggage. They offered to escort us to security, but we declined, as it is an easy (though long) walk to the departure gates in TBIT.

When arriving at Honolulu, we were met at the aircraft door by a member of Hawaiian Airlines staff, holding a sign with the name we specified in advance. We were in the A gates section of Terminal 1. Just after the jetbridge, a second Hawaiian Airlines staff member was waiting with fragrant, fresh tuberose leis for each member of my group, and a luggage cart to carry our cabin bags. It was a brief walk downstairs, skipping the baggage claim and instead turning left to a private exterior driveway area. The car arranged by Hawaiian Airlines was already waiting. Our cabin bags were loaded for us, and we left the airport just a few moments after disembarking from the aircraft. Our checked luggage was collected separately and delivered to our destination about an hour after we arrived.

It was a great experience. The staff could not have been nicer or more friendly, and the service made the arrival at Honolulu much easier and more pleasant than usual. The fresh leis were an excellent touch for my guests who were visiting Hawaii for the first time, and avoiding baggage claim and having a car waiting right outside the terminal door was fantastic. Look forward to using the service again 👍

[Edit to add: Car service to my destination was paid separately, and a variety of different car options were available. While I could have arranged my own transporation, I would recommend booking through Hawaiian as they will ensure the car is ready and waiting when you exit the terminal. It would have been more difficult to coordinate another service myself, to have them find the special private driveway, and to have the car waiting when we arrived.]
