Not encouraging to hear! But kind of what I expected. Will give it a try, having her call and I'll get on the line and see what can be done. First I'll see what can be done to get out of her account being locked. If she's got a username and password that works, I ought to be able to get somewhere with that... maybe.
The next step, if these don't work, is to find the email of an exec at Delta (see: Elliott.org) and send a respectful but sad email about this.
If that doesn't work, pay a lawyer $250-500 to send a letter to Delta.

I've had to do all three - normal channels, exec email, and legal letter - for other merchants/service providers.
The only two which failed (ever) were Ticketmaster (I now have two accounts) and Walmart (who finally changed their policy - I was able to use a new email without old email - in late 2023).
