Yes - like many of you, I have minimum 50-60+ paid days a year with them - most Internationally - London / Paris / Asia / etc - stay at same hotels, mostly upper tier - they know and save my preferred rooms, etc, etc. [kudos for that] -- and yes I shop rates- Have been staying at many of these longer than the desk personal who check me in... have been alive....and yes, often the pre-paid advance rate has been the way to go when I know I will be there. -- I have gotten a price match in the past when I have asked for one, or have gotten a room upgrade (which for the most part, I don't care about). - My point is this: IF we are clients that are important to the brand, [despite being one lone individual]...then they should do better, by us.
