IND to Albuquerque in April. I had their Amex card that gave me lounge access and companion ticket, but cancelled it. Lounges were./are overflowing and companion tickets were for flights my wife and I wouldn't put ourselves through to use. (66 & 67 respectively). We won't book flights with a less than 90+ min layover, too stressful for us old folks. I see them selling ticket for flight with an afternoon connection that is 45 minutes. No thanks. 2 years ago I booked tickets 6 months out to fairbanks to make sure we had flight/seats we wanted with 3-1/2 hr layover in MN. I preferred this to a short a layover. Did not want to miss our connecting. They cancelled/changed our flight 5 times and last change put me on a flight with 45 min layover at 4:30 pm. No way to change it since it was within a month of the flight and everything was booked (that we wanted). We were meeting her nephew who lives there reservations, cruise, ATV excursions etc were booked in advance. My wife acted like she needed help from the plane to the gate and she waited at the gate for me to get there. I had to check my carry on bag since the bins on the plane in were to small and this delay almost caused us to miss the connecting. If she hadn't been at the gate begging them to hold the flight they would have left without us.
