Question:
1) when transiting through GUM, do I need to clear Guam/CPB immigration and re-check my bag?
2) Can UA and CA print 4 segments on 1 baggage tag, or it requires 2 tags? I have had bad experience especially in PEK (twice!) where my 2nd tag got ripped off or rolled up by confused baggage handlers ....
1 - You will definitely have to go through US immigration and Guamanian customs. I don't think that you need to reclaim your bags, though -- at least, that's my vague recollection on a transit a few years back.
2 - Yes, the computers can print four segments on a luggage tag.
