Wife and I were thinking of flying to Scotland or Poland in 2024. We're retired (and blessed) and can afford to fly Delta one, but comparing this to comfort seats, Scotland is double for Delta one and Poland is more than double.

I didn't fly a lot for business or travel will working, I was a road (overnight car) salesman and last thing I wanted to do was stay in a hotel on vacation, God love my wife.

Is this historically in line with pricing before the pandemic? Has first class always been this more expensive?
