Another experiment today at Harbin Taiping Airport : tried to buy a juice at a kiosk that had the MC/visa logo.

The person seemed puzzled, brought over a supervisor, who then brought out a card machine and inserted my card.....which promptly then declined the transaction.

Uh yeah, still some rough edges despite the MC/Visa stickers in places.
