I emailed my concierge and she apologized and gave the standard "will do everything to fix this" and even gave me 10K Hyatt points per night but the hotel seems pretty adamant they don't have suites and honestly 10K per night doesn't seem to cover the actual value of a suite that we were looking forward to (difference between our room we book and the suite was $500 a night). I'm glad to hear the Park Hyatt Bangkok normally treats globalists well. I'm hoping the trip can still be salvaged since we love going to Bangkok and plan on staying at the PH often in the future if we like it. Just sucks that this is our first impression.
