Thankfully, I usually get that segment operated by CI, so I am not too worried.
It is still more than you would get for free on the new and yet to fly LCC.

ANA has been cutting cost like crazy recently, but this does seem rather unusual. I think the reason is different than it being Air Japan operating the flight. I guess there are no late night flights to TSA
