Last trip YYZ-YVR-HNL, I checked in using the app and obtained my boarding pass at the airport Kiosk with Nexus card, but I was stopped by the gate agent at boarding and sent me to talk to the supervisor at the desk. I had to argue and almost like begging them to let me board the flight to YVR... (I do like the pre clearance experience at the YVR, I didn't even need to scan my Nexus card because the latest face recognition kiosk and the CBP office didn't even check my physical card..)
Upcoming trip YYZ-LAS, I still don't want to carry my passport is I don't have to. Will I encounter issue with CBP at YYZ. or the Air Canada Gate Agent?
Anyone got some recent experience? Any Advice? Thanks
There is no consistency. Sometimes Nexus is enough, sometimes it isn't. I always carry my passport just in case.
