I’d much rather have a 62 year old pilot with 40 years experience than a 22 year old EasyJet pilot more than likely distracted by their phone and social media!

60 is not old in todays world! Just because government policy determines an age to be a pensioner, doesn’t mean they are old or incapable. Theres plenty of 60+ who are far healthier or fitter than many 18+ year olds. (Thats not to say I agree with the pension age increasing every so often) Working after 40 years of labour should be a choice not a requirement.
