It means he is over 60 which surprised me. I don’t want to start a thread on old people working, I am somewhat older than that pilot and still did my professional work until a few months ago but I thought pilots would be retired younger. Their work is somewhat more crucial than mine and, alas, the old go wrong more often than the young!
