Yeah you will get rebooked to other US bound flights if there are no seats on the direct BA or AA flights. Nothing to worry about unless you HAVE to arrive at MIA at a certain time. You will fly in the same class; extremely unlikely that BA will not be able to accommodate you.

Most likely you will find yourself on the BA flight to MIA tomorrow exactly as booked; don't overthink this.
