Does a polite word with those ahead of you in the queue or showing your BP to someone in a purple jacket not do the trick here in case of genuinely short connections? I appreciate that sometimes it is faster to exit and reenter by the FW (in order to spend more time in the lounge…?) but I can’t see any lives being lost [flights being missed] as a result of FW closing for a short while.
