Food on the return from BKK to LHR 26/12/23.
Arrived at BKK and went to the TK lounge where they had canapés on offer:
I like canapés as they differ and give you a good start to your meal. The LX flight departs at 13.20 so I didn’t want to eat too much in the lounge.
I think the SQ lounge would have been better as it was quite a long walk from lounge to gate

The salmon starter was nothing much although the mango avocado salsa was good, forgot to photograph.
I asked for it as rare as possible and the stewardess said she would try. I know steak cookery on an aeroplane is very tricky so no problem. It was a nice steak even if overcooked!
Dessert. Rather bland.
The ZRH lounge I used was at the D gates and its redeeming feature was being next to, well just above, to D31.
Meal for ZRH - LHR was a slice of pate, some pastrami and what I think was celeriac remoulade but my taste buds had long since faltered! There was also two slices of dry hard cheese and a nice moussey thing, and again I forgot to take a snap.
