It turns out it was a simple misunderstanding between me & the csr. She led me to believe that once my credits became "transferable" that I could then book a flight for someone else from MY account. But that did not work. I had to actually transfer the credits to my son's account and then book the ticket from his account. It was probably MY fault for not listening more carefully. It's all good and flight has been booked.
