Great trip report, I lived in Ireland for a couple years and seeing the pictures brings back a lot of memories. I agree with the driving instructions you listed above, smaller cars are definitely easier in the narrow winding roads of Ireland. On the motor ways it really does not matter, but in the countryside the roads can be pretty narrow. Thank you for posting.
