Wondering if anyone has stayed here?
I was there recently. Booked a standard room, and got an upgrade to a room with a nice view of the 747. It was only my first Marriott stay for the year.

Former PH-BFB City of Bangkok, now parked in Corendon livery at Corendon Village Several videos on YouTube show how the 747-400 ended up there. For example, search for 'Megatransport 747 Mammoet'.

Corendon Village consists of three hotels, this Tribune hotel itself, also has 'Plaza' on the facade and which used to be Sony's former head office. In addition, there are two newly built areas: Corenon Apartments, which is also affiliated with Marriott, and Corendon Urban, which I assume are long-stay apartments.

The room decor itself was a bit uninspiring and focused on functionality. You wouldn't say that the hotel has only been open for a few years. The ventilation was quiet and you didn't hear the highway.

The colors on the left are from the TV screen. The curtains could be opened completely and then provide a full-length view on the end of one of the runways on the opposite side of the highway.

A bit of noise could be heard when larger planes took off early in the AM. You can also book rooms with a (better) view of the airport, but the airfield is just too distant in my opinion to be interesting. On the top floor, there is a glass Sky Bar, with a dedicated elevator to the top, where you can also have dinner. At the weekend there's a 10 euro entrance fee, because there will be a DJ there or live music (which could also be felt slightly in the room for a while, not all night).

I always think it's a shame when hotels have a nice rain shower, but only one of those mini glass splash screens. Probably easier to maintain for housekeeping.

On the ground floor, the hotel has an all-you-can-eat-and-drink restaurant that is very popular - at least during the weekend. It was full but guests who arrived later could take a seat in the lobby. I thought it was worth the 40 euros they asked for it that evening, especially in combination with the free Heineken beer tap and free house wine, and I had the impression that more guests enjoyed it. On the Internet, you will find various offers for this restaurant, for lower prices including, for example, four hours of parking. In the morning there is also a breakfast buffet here, which I think is 20 euros, but I had smuggled some fruit with me after dinner, so I had breakfast in the room.

Outside view of the restaurant, with seasonal outside seating.

For guests who have a more modest appetite, there is a separate bar and sandwich shop that seemed to have just opened (the information leaflet stated that it was closed for renovation).

The hotel has an airport shuttle: full-size busses. I didn't find out about the schedule, but guests who want to visit Amsterdam are advised to take the airport shuttle and then take a train at the airport. If you arrive by car, parking is 17.50 euros. There's a huge number of Tesla superchargers. By scouting out the area via google streetview you may even find options to park for free at night and walk a minute or two extra.

Another nice extra to the hotel is a cinema, as long as you like what they are playing (Corendon Cinema - regular movie prices - or book a dinner/movie-combo, when the movie is more or less free). Don't know if movies are screened in English with subtitles, or how this works. There's also an attractive health and fitness area, but it closes at 9 PM - at least, the pool does. It's free but it requires a reservation. Did not see many people use it when it was open.

Nice little indoor pool.
