Experienced the same as
pbd456 in the Holiday Inn Düsseldorf Toulouser Allee yesterday. Even after I had charged dinner to my room, it said that either my Rewards One Number is not on profile or the hotel does not particiapted. As I had asked during check in if the hotel participated and was told, they did, I talked to the front desk again. I was told, that it could not done online in their account (because they do not use the automatic WiFi login via IHG Rewards). The front desk agent took care of it. She also mentioned, that the night shift probably could not do it (checked out at 05:30 am).
