For YYZ-FCO, occurred 6 days out with EF previously showing R1 and afterwards R0, but with at least 9 business class seats remaining for sale in all paid booking classes. Promptly learned of each upgrade via EF alerts that my previous seats in the booked class had become available. No timely communication from AC.
