Recently staid here and received a nice welcome email from the assistant loyalty manager inquiring about any special preferences and including a list of recommended restaurants, things to do, etc.
Since suites are currently limited (I guess they are being renovated?) the hotel is offering a choice of:
• 2,500 Bonus Points per stay.
• Hotel Credit value of THB 500 net per stay.
• Complimentary a bottle of house wine (red / white) per stay.
• Complimentary 4 bottles of local beer per stay.
I wish more hotels would follow that example!
I booked a base room and was upgraded to a corner room as Titanium.
Also to note: breakfast in the restaurant was a welcome gift option. I don't know if this is a relic of Le Meridien times or will be kept going forward. Currently breakfast for all platinum and above is served in the main restaurant.

Was the lounge open? If not, what was the 'alternate venue'? Maybe the booze in your room to make up for a lack of lounge. That happened to me during COVID.
The hotel website has had this message for a while, but so its hard to tell when the work will finish:
We are renovating our club lounge.
M Club Lounge is being upgraded. Alternate venue on offer. Work might be noticed.
