Yes, as a non-Glob I would definitely choose the club award, unless I knew for sure that I would have no opportunity to use it during the validity period. Even a single night stay at a European or Asian Hyatt with lounge access would make the cert worth more than 2k to me. And it might actually make Hyatt a more attractive choice compared to other chains, I.e., if I could stay at a Hyatt as a Discoverist or Explorist and enjoy lounge access, and next door is an similar quality/priced Marriott where as a Gold elite I don’t get lounge access, I would likely choose Hyatt.
