There is probably still plenty of value to be extracted from club food and bev, and maybe this list will make them even more valuable, but only time will tell at this point.
There’s still MANY amazing uses. I honestly don’t think you’d need to be intentional at all, basically any use of one would be worth more than the 2k for someone actually able to use them, meaning a non-Globalist.
For example -
The worst lounge I’ve been to is Hyatt Regency Tulsa as it’s very small, and only has a few N/A drinks, breakfast bars and cookies. Even there though I would value access at a minimum of $10 a day. When used they’re valid for up to 2 Adults and 2 Children to use the Club Lounge and for up to 7 days.
If I had the choice as a non-Globalist of either 2 Club Awards or 2k points I’d definitely choose the 2 Club Awards as I would value the use of it higher than 1k points each.
The value of these awards increases depending on where it’s used.
The changes are basically only beneficial for Globalists as they really have no use for the Club Awards, and after years Hyatt has caved and wants to add some choice for Globalists.
