Hi. We recently got a pair of award tickets, ORD-HND/HND-JFK in November/December of next year. We live near IND. So we will have to get repositioning flights IND-ORD and JFK-IND. If we get them from American, would they (American on way to HND, and JAL on the way home) check the luggage through? Or is that completely dependent on the discretion of the check-in agent?
